The Viper VSM550 module can be installed as a standalone GPS Locator/Tracker or can also be paired with a Viper alarm system. When paired with a Viper alarm system it also allows you to control the alarm system from your smartphone (arm/disarm/remote start) as well as sends you notifications if the alarm is triggered.
